TITLE: Legislative advocacy

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Lobbies local city council or county commissioners on behalf of Sierra Club.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Testify at public hearings. Monitor agenda of local elected body on-line to watch for environmental issues.

QUALIFICATIONS: Able to speak clearly in public. Must live within geopolitical boundaries where they are representing the club. Access to Internet to check meeting agendas.
