ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE STANDING POWERS The Chapter Administrative Committee has been given standing authority to: 1. Approve all committee appointments between Chapter Executive Committee meetings, after the initial appointments are made in January (January, 1996). 2. Ratify local (non-state) endorsements (April, 1996). 3. Approve the USE OF LISTS BY OUTSIDE ORGANIZATIONS under conditions specified in the rule by that name (July 1996). 4. Approve the Chapter's investments according to the following criteria: 1) They obey Club investment policy; 2) they preserve principal; 3) they maximize return; and 4) they have adequate liquidity (April 1995). 5. Approve administrative appeals to actions by the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service, provided that the affected Groups and appropriate committee Chairs have been consulted and approve of the appeal (April 1997). 6. Approve the use of membership lists for organizing new entities within the Chapter (Groups, Sections, or committees) (October 1998). 7. Appoint delegates to SWRCC in the event vacancies in those positions occur between the January Executive Committee meeting of one year and the January Executive Committee meeting of the following year.
