GRATIS AND PAID NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTIONS A copy of each issue of the Peak and Prairie should be sent to each member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Sierra Club. The Circulation Manager will send free PEAK AND PRAIRIE subscriptions to all members of the Sierra Club Board of Directors, Southwest Regional Conservation Committee members, members of the Sierra Club Council Executive Committee, Chapter Newsletter Editors, and members of Congress who represent Colorado. In addition, the Circulation Manager will develop a form which will be used by the leaders of the Rocky Mountain Chapter to enter free subscriptions for deserving individuals. The form will contain, at a minimum, the name and address of the person who should receive a free subscription as well as a short description of the reason for granting the free subscription. All completed forms shall be retained on file by the Circulation Manager. Each Rocky Mountain Chapter Executive Committee member shall be entitled to grant up to three free subscriptions to individuals of his or her own choosing, and the Circulation Manager is granted up to ten free subscriptions. All other free subscriptions require the approval of the Rocky Mountain Chapter Executive Committee. Each year, the Circulation Manager will cancel all of the miscellaneous free subscriptions granted by the leaders of the Rocky Mountain Chapter (with the exception of Gramps Mauthe's lifetime free subscription). To the former recipients of these free subscriptions, the Circulation Manager will send cancellation notices which suggest paid subscriptions or Sierra Club memberships. At no time will the number of free PEAK AND PRAIRIE subscriptions exceed 5% of the total PEAK AND PRAIRIE circulation. The Membership Chair of each Group shall receive 25 free copies of PEAK AND PRAIRIE for local distribution.
