Annual Chapter Retreat
September 17-19, 1999
Join us this year at the Annual Rocky Mountain Chapter retreat, a weekend of diverse workshops, recreational opportunities at the Glacier View Ranch west of Boulder. Glacier View Ranch, where we had last year’s highly successful retreat, is in a beautiful, serene setting with a lake and fantastic views of the Indian Peaks. There are many opportunities for outdoor recreation with hiking trails, canoeing, horseback riding and mountain biking trails all on the Ranch or immediately adjacent. All this recreation will be wrapped around a weekend of diverse workshops and evening entertainment.
Glacier View is a smoke-free, drug-free, alcohol-free facility. There will be plenty of tent sites and shared cabin space available. There will be men’s shared cabins, women’s shared cabins, and co-ed cabins available for families and close groups. Part-time childcare will be available for young children. This year we will be having the meals provided by the Glacier View Ranch staff, which will allow us to spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying the weekend.
The Retreat Committee will be finalizing the program over the next few months and info will be available in the next issue of the Peak & Prairie. But you do not have to wait for the details, you know that it will be a great weekend! You can register now!
