Rocky Mountain Chapter - Colorado Welcome to our Get Outdoors Leaders page! In order to participate on one of the Sierra Club's outings, you will need to sign a liability waiver. And, in the interests of facilitating the logistics of some outings, it is customary that participants make carpooling arrangements. The Sierra Club does not have insurance for carpooling arrangements and assumes no liability for them. Carpooling, ride sharing or anything similar is strictly a private arrangement among the participants. Participants assume the risks associated with this travel. Leaders, please remember to send all completed liability forms to the Chapter address listed on the bottom of this page...
A simple leadership certification process was approved by the
Rocky Mountain Chapter's Executive Committee at their January 16th, 1999 meeting in Caņon City. The basics can be viewed at our
Rules page.
The page you're viewing now is used to list all of the Chapter's certified leaders who wish
to have their name and other information listed publicly on the web. This information can be a great
rescource for not only potential leaders desiring to complete their certification, but all others interested
in networking as well.
Please email Outings Chair Jacob
Morgan to
be listed on this page.
Note: At times, the Chapter's ExCom approves a certain amount of funding to reimburse
leaders up to half of their First Aid training. Many groups reimburse leaders for the remaining half...
