Spam is one of the scourges of the Internet. Since our rule is that Sierra Club servers are to be used for Sierra Club business only, it is our policy to aggressively block known spam sources from our servers.  Below is our provisional list of filters used to block spam.

Note that if you have a need to receive email from a blocked server, send an email to listmaster@rmc.sierraclub.org.  Include the email address and the IP address that you need to have whitelisted.  We will investigate, and if the IP address in question is not a significant source of spam we will try to accommodate your needs.

We will also accept recommendations for additions and deletions to this list, but reserve sole right to decide what is appropriate.

You may also request that we whitelist a specific IPA. That is, we will not check that IPA against any of the lists. We don't like doing that, but we recognize that some people have no choice over where they send mail from. Click here to request whitelisting.
